PENZIM GEL AND FLUID SOLUTION
When the cod enzymes have been purified they are added to a moisturizing solution that is either a gel or fluid. Both versions of PENZIM have the same strength and effectiveness. The storage capacity is about three years at room temperature.
DECADES OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
The scientist and innovator behind PENZIM and related products that are based on Penzyme® is the biochemist Dr. Jón Bragi Bjarnason, who for many years was professor at the University of Iceland. For almost 40 years his research focus was on marine enzymes with special emphasis on the digestive enzymes of the Atlantic cod. It has hardly any teeth and its enzymes are effective in breaking down its food at the sea temperature (about 6°C) around the coasts of Iceland.
